About the Author

Analynn teaches Art, English, and Music to people young and old. She likes to write books and short stories. She loves snowshoeing in the winter and cycling in the summer. Sometimes you can find her sprint-kayaking on the lake or hiking in the Rocky Mountains. She has a big dog and one striped cat that like to run with her.

As a writer, Analynn is presently editing one of her ESL [English as a Second Language] series, Legends of the Mountains and the Valleys, to meet the needs of ESL students. LEGENDS… is a collection of mythical short stories based on the nine gifts of the spirit.

Volume I – THE NINE GIFTS of THEODOSIA, begins the mystery of the legends when Prince Enos sets out to find the maiden who will some day rule the Valleys as queen. The prince is captured by the beauty of Theodosia, but she proves it will take more than beauty to spare his kingdom from destruction.

Bearnapped Teddy finds himself lost in China! Eager to return home to Canada, Teddy’s traveling adventure begins with his meeting Kiboko, a hippopotamus who shares in the journey filled with unusual sights, sounds and experiences that eventually lead Teddy home. This narrated audio book includes a Soundtrack of original compositions by Analynn that underscore the story.

As a visual artist, Analynn has sculpted things out of clay, fabric, paper, and even junk! Her group of sculptures, ART IS…, was made especially for her art students. The collection included three large pieces, entitled, Art is Seeing, Art is Hearing, Art is Tasting, Smelling, Touching. The fourth piece in the collection is called, Art is e-Motion. For this piece, Analynn used old film reels and video tape along with other kinds of everyday things from life. Analynn also likes sketching, painting, photography, and designing graphics. Analynn enjoys doing concerts with her harp. She plays different kinds of music so people can hear that the harp is a cool instrument. Analynn performs on stage as a singer and actress.
